4 Stars Fellowes 32197 Power Shredder
Works great, but it’s HUGE! The most attractive things about it are its ability to shred reasonably thick stacks of paper without choking. Be careful to lubricate the cutter according to directions or its life will be dramatically shortened.

We have had this shredder for quite a few months now, and we absolutely love it. It is much quieter then our previous one, and is a little work horse. I would highly recommend this product to any small business or home office.

4 Stars Good Choice for Office or Home
We recently bought this shredder for our office and it’s shared between two people. I looked at lots of different styles and features and finally decided on this one. The day we got it, I tried to cause it to fail – to test it out. It took everything I gave it. It only jammed once because I tried to put way too much paper through at one time and when that happened, I hit the reverse button and it all came out with ease. It has a nice capacity and for those who are trying to make eco-friendly purchases, you don’t need to put a bag in this bin. The casters also make it very easy to move between the two offices if needed.
The only negative I can say is that when you do empty it out, you will want to reach under and grab the paper pieces that are still “stuck” in the blades. It’s easy to do and doesn’t take long. I think with most shredders that cut the paper in to smaller pieces than just strips, it will have a tendency to have pieces left in the blades.
I like this so much, I’m thinking of buying one for my home.

SUPER buy! I run a small doctors office and I have quite a bit to shred. This product is great. It does not bogg down with continued shredding. Fast and efficient. Handles 17 pages with ease. It has a special CD/DVD shredder that is super. The only con is that is is a little messy, when you pull out the drawer some of the shredding falls behind the door and you have to sweep it out, but for the price and quality it is a must have.

5 Stars Great small office beast!
We got this shredder for a small office of 15 people who need to shred their code religiously. Previous models have not held up as well. Granted this is just the first few months of use but it has been holding up quite well. The basket seems to be quite large and the motor does not make a lot of noise relative to other shredders that we’ve had. And the oddest part of this was that it took only one day to have this bad bay delivered. Not sure why of that because we did have to pay for shipping since it weighs more than a book. But one day after ordering, there it was in our office. Great shredder for the right environment.
2 Stars PowerShred not what I expected.
I expected a little more commercial type shredder. Not very powerful and the blades appear dull. Certainly didn’t get my monies worth.

1 Star Good design gone bad
This model replaced the discontinued GBC Shredmaster 3220S which performed extremely well for us. The so-called improvement on this model is a “protective shield” which does not allow paper going in to feed properly into the shredding area. In addition, the shredding machine sits on a plastic cabinet whose door needs special attention to close properly so shredding can resume after changing the trash bag. Finally, the metal frame that holds the trash bag in place is slightly too narrow and does not fit securely on the rails inside the cabinet. GBC had a good workhorse and ruined it on its redesign. We’re still looking for a quality replacement.
